SUMMARY:The Shedding Fire - A Firewalk of Shedding and Becoming
DESCRIPTION:There comes a point where knowing is no longer enough. \nYou’ve thought about it.\nFelt it.\nSeen where things need to change. \nBut something still holds you at the edge. \nNot because you don’t know…\nbut because you haven’t stepped. \nThis is that moment. \nA moment to leave something behind…\nand move forward. \n\nThis is not just an event.\nIt is a threshold.\nThe Shedding Fire is a ceremonial firewalk held at a powerful point in the year. \nEarly summer. \nA time when everything begins to grow\, expand\, and take form. \nAnd with that comes a choice. \nTo continue carrying what no longer fits…\nor to release it and step into something new. \nThis rite marks the shift from intention into action.\nFrom reflection into courage.\nFrom inner knowing into lived experience. \n\nCeremony Before the Fire\nBefore the fire is ever laid\, before the embers begin to glow\, we gather. \nThis is where the shift begins. \nThrough guided practice\, reflection\, and intention setting\,\nyou are supported to arrive fully in your body\, your breath\, and your awareness. \nWhat you have been holding begins to loosen.\nWhat has felt unclear begins to settle. \nThe nervous system begins to feel safe. \nBy the time the fire is lit\,\nthe walk is no longer something to face. \nIt becomes something to step into. \n\nThe Walk\nFirewalking is an ancient ceremonial practice found across cultures around the world. \nYou will be guided to walk barefoot across warm embers\nwith presence\, respect\, and awareness. \nThis is not about endurance.\nIt is not about pushing beyond your limits. \nIt is a continuation of the ceremony.\nA physical expression of an inner decision. \nA moment where thought gives way to action. \nThere is no pressure to walk.\nYou are always in choice. \nAnd for some\, even standing at the edge is enough to feel something shift. \n\nWhy Firewalking Is Transformational\nFirewalking creates a real and embodied shift. \n\nIt supports the release of fear held in the body\nIt breaks patterns that have been unconsciously repeated\nIt anchors intention into action\nIt builds confidence and self trust\n\nMany people leave feeling clearer\, calmer\, and more aligned. \nNot because they conquered the fire… \nBut because they met themselves fully. \nThe fire does not change you.\nIt reveals you. \n\nSafety and Holding the Space\nThis is a guided and facilitated experience. \nThe fire is carefully prepared and tended.\nClear explanations are given before the walk.\nSupport is offered before\, during\, and after. \nYou are never pushed.\nYou are always in choice. \nThis ceremony honours both the power of fire\nand the wisdom of the body. \n\nAbout the Facilitator\nThis work is not something I was taught.\nIt is something I have come to embody. \nMy path began in my own recovery\, in facing the patterns that were keeping me stuck and learning that if something is not faced\, it does not leave. \nFirewalking became a doorway into that understanding.\nNot as performance\, but as a way of meeting fear directly and choosing to step forward with awareness. \nI trained with the Sundoor School of Firewalking\, continuing from instructor through to Sundoor Master\, and now into Sakahan. \nThe spaces I hold are grounded\, safe\, and honest. \nYou are met where you are\, and supported to take a step forward in your own way. \n\n \nThe Space\nHeld within the presence of the Belinus Giant\,this is a small\, contained gathering. \nYou will be supported and witnessed by otherswho are also choosing to step forward in their lives. \nBecause something changes when you do this together. \n\nWhat to Expect\n\nArrival and welcoming circle\nGuided ceremonial preparation\nIntention setting and release work\nClear explanation of the firewalk process\nOptional firewalk with individual support\nIntegration and closing circle\n\nNo previous experience is required. \n\nDetails\nLocation: The Belinus Giant \nDate: Saturday\, 6 June \nDuration: Approx. 3–4 hours \nExchange: £75 \n\nA Quiet Invitation\nYou do not need to be fearless to come here. You do not need to have it all figured out. \nOnly a willingness to meet yourself honestly…to leave something behind…and take one step forward. \n\nClosing\nSpaces are limited to keep this work held and real. \nIf something in you responds\, even quietly…trust that. \nBecause some part of you already knows it is time to shed what no longer fits and step into what is becoming. \n \n

SUMMARY:The Belinus Giant - For the Living and For the Leaving Open Day
DESCRIPTION:The Belinus Giant Open Day  – For the Living and the Leaving \nA day of healing\, reflection\, community\, and connection with the land. \nThis gathering is an invitation to slow down\, share food\, sit by the fire\, meet new people\, honour what is passing\, and reconnect with what matters most in life. \nWhether you are navigating grief\, change\, transition\, growth\, loss\, purpose\, illness\, uncertainty\, or simply seeking deeper connection\, this day is designed as a gentle communal experience rooted in nature\, ritual\, and human connection. \nAt the heart of this day is community. \nA remembering that we are not meant to walk through life alone. \nThat healing deepens when witnessed. \nThat stories soften when shared. \nThat grief becomes lighter when carried together. That difference does not need to divide us. \nMany spiritual traditions speak of this time as a remembering. \nA return from separation into relationship.A movement away from isolation and disconnection\, and back towards community\, compassion\, and shared humanity. \nWe all carry different stories\, beliefs\, cultures\, wounds\, and gifts.Different medicines for the circle. \nYet beneath all of it is the same human need:to belong\,to be seen\,to be heard\,to love\,and to be loved. \nUnity is not about becoming the same. \nIt is about learning how to stand together without fear of difference. \nTo celebrate what makes each of us unique while remembering what binds us together. \nThat is the love vibe. \nThis day is open to everyone.\nYou do not need to arrive healed\, spiritual\, confident\, or certain. You only need to arrive human. \nWhat to Expect \nArrival and Welcome Circle \nWe begin together with an introduction to The Belinus Giant\, the practitioners\, and the spirit of the day. \nMeet the Practitioners \nThroughout the morning you will have the opportunity to connect with a range of healers\, guides\, and space holders offering different approaches to wellbeing\, reflection\, healing\, and personal support.\nThe practitioners are not simply here to provide sessions. \nThey are here to help hold a space where conversation\, presence\, listening\, and connection can naturally unfold throughout the day. \nShared Lunch \nA simple shared lunch is included as part of the day. \nRegistration fee: £5 \nThis contribution helps cover food costs and supports the ongoing work of The Belinus Giant and future community gatherings. \nThere will be space to sit together\, eat slowly\, meet new people\, reconnect with old friends\, and remember the simple medicine of gathering around food and conversation. \nAfternoon Healing Sessions \nGuests may book optional 20 minute sessions with practitioners throughout the afternoon. \nSession contribution: £25 \n£5 from every session is gifted back to The Belinus Giant to support the land\, the community\, and future gatherings. \nSessions may include: \n• Energy healing \n• Spiritual guidance \n• Breath and grounding practices \n• Reflection and listening spaces \n• Tarot or intuitive work \n• Sound or embodied healing practices \nRitual for Release and Reflection \nGuests will be invited to make a prayer to the fire and\, if called\, take part in a simple river ritual by releasing a stone into the water.\nA moment to honour what is ending\, what is being carried\, and what may be ready to be let go. \nThere will also be space to honour loved ones\, transitions\, memories\, prayers\, or chapters of life that deserve acknowledgement.\nPlanting the Rowan Tree. \nWe close the day by planting a Rowan tree together on the land. \nFor generations the Rowan has been seen as a tree of protection\, connection\, and remembrance.A tree planted at thresholds.A guardian tree. \nIts roots reach deep into the earth while its branches continue towards the sky\, reminding us that grief and growth often live side by side. \nGuests will be invited\, if they wish\, to place a prayer\, intention\, memory\, or blessing into the ground beneath the tree. \nThe Rowan will remain on the land long after the gathering has ended.Growing through the seasons. \nWitnessing future fires\, conversations\, laughter\, tears\, ceremonies\, and moments of connection. \nA living reminder that even in endings\, something continues to grow. \nEvening Firewalk Ceremony \nGuests attending the Open Day will also have the opportunity to book onto the evening Firewalk Ceremony at a discounted rate. \nThe firewalk is entirely optional and offered as an extension of the day for those who feel called to continue the journey. \nFor some\, the day may end around the fire. For others\, it may continue across it. \nFor many\, the fire represents release\, courage\, transition\, and stepping beyond old limitations.A chance to meet fear differently and walk forward with greater presence\, trust\, and intention. \nMore details about the evening ceremony will be shared during the day. \nThis is not simply an open day. \nIt is a shared pause. A remembering of tribe.A place where differences are welcomed\, stories are honoured\, and people can gather without needing to pretend to be anything other than human. \nNot a space to perform healing.A space to belong. \nFor the living. For the leaving. For what remains. For what is still growing.
