The Belinus Giant – For the Living and For the Leaving Open Day

The Belinus Giant Open Day – For the Living and the Leaving
A day of healing, reflection, community, and connection with the land.
This gathering is an invitation to slow down, share food, sit by the fire, meet new people, honour what is passing, and reconnect with what matters most in life.
Whether you are navigating grief, change, transition, growth, loss, purpose, illness, uncertainty, or simply seeking deeper connection, this day is designed as a gentle communal experience rooted in nature, ritual, and human connection.
At the heart of this day is community.
A remembering that we are not meant to walk through life alone.
That healing deepens when witnessed.
That stories soften when shared.
That grief becomes lighter when carried together. That difference does not need to divide us.
Many spiritual traditions speak of this time as a remembering.
A return from separation into relationship.A movement away from isolation and disconnection, and back towards community, compassion, and shared humanity.
We all carry different stories, beliefs, cultures, wounds, and gifts.Different medicines for the circle.
Yet beneath all of it is the same human need:to belong,to be seen,to be heard,to love, and to be loved.
Unity is not about becoming the same.
It is about learning how to stand together without fear of difference.
To celebrate what makes each of us unique while remembering what binds us together.
That is the love vibe.
This day is open to everyone.
You do not need to arrive healed, spiritual, confident, or certain. You only need to arrive human.
What to Expect
Arrival and Welcome Circle
We begin together with an introduction to The Belinus Giant, the practitioners, and the spirit of the day.
Meet the Practitioners
Throughout the morning you will have the opportunity to connect with a range of healers, guides, and space holders offering different approaches to wellbeing, reflection, healing, and personal support.
The practitioners are not simply here to provide sessions.
They are here to help hold a space where conversation, presence, listening, and connection can naturally unfold throughout the day.
Shared Lunch
A simple shared lunch is included as part of the day.
Registration fee: £5
This contribution helps cover food costs and supports the ongoing work of The Belinus Giant and future community gatherings.
There will be space to sit together, eat slowly, meet new people, reconnect with old friends, and remember the simple medicine of gathering around food and conversation.
Afternoon Healing Sessions
Guests may book optional 20 minute sessions with practitioners throughout the afternoon.
Session contribution: £25
£5 from every session is gifted back to The Belinus Giant to support the land, the community, and future gatherings.
Sessions may include:
• Energy healing
• Spiritual guidance
• Breath and grounding practices
• Reflection and listening spaces
• Tarot or intuitive work
• Sound or embodied healing practices
Ritual for Release and Reflection
Guests will be invited to make a prayer to the fire and, if called, take part in a simple river ritual by releasing a stone into the water.
A moment to honour what is ending, what is being carried, and what may be ready to be let go.
There will also be space to honour loved ones, transitions, memories, prayers, or chapters of life that deserve acknowledgement.
Planting the Rowan Tree.
We close the day by planting a Rowan tree together on the land.
For generations the Rowan has been seen as a tree of protection, connection, and remembrance.A tree planted at thresholds.A guardian tree.
Its roots reach deep into the earth while its branches continue towards the sky, reminding us that grief and growth often live side by side.
Guests will be invited, if they wish, to place a prayer, intention, memory, or blessing into the ground beneath the tree.
The Rowan will remain on the land long after the gathering has ended.Growing through the seasons.
Witnessing future fires, conversations, laughter, tears, ceremonies, and moments of connection.
A living reminder that even in endings, something continues to grow.
Evening Firewalk Ceremony
Guests attending the Open Day will also have the opportunity to book onto the evening Firewalk Ceremony at a discounted rate.
The firewalk is entirely optional and offered as an extension of the day for those who feel called to continue the journey.
For some, the day may end around the fire. For others, it may continue across it.
For many, the fire represents release, courage, transition, and stepping beyond old limitations.A chance to meet fear differently and walk forward with greater presence, trust, and intention.
More details about the evening ceremony will be shared during the day.
This is not simply an open day.
It is a shared pause. A remembering of tribe.A place where differences are welcomed, stories are honoured, and people can gather without needing to pretend to be anything other than human.
Not a space to perform healing.A space to belong.
For the living. For the leaving. For what remains. For what is still growing.
